With Daan van den Ende, the company has gained an experienced Sales Manager for mBCA Medical & Fitness, who will be responsible for the introduction of the seca TRU and the seca mBCA 555.
"Sports and fitness are part of my DNA," says van den Ende, delighted with the new role. "I've been involved in the fitness industry since I was 20 years old and have been working with bioimpedance analysis (BIA) for just as long. With the medical validation of BIA, seca is taking this essential topic in the fitness world to a whole new level. I am very excited about this special challenge."
"With Mr. van den Ende on board, we have a highly competent expert who knows exactly how relevant medical body composition analysis is," says Christian Dietrich Global Division Manager Body Composition. "In times when the effects of a lack of exercise are increasingly being felt after the coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than ever to precisely record the current status. This is the only way we can provide people with fact-based support in achieving their fitness goals." With the seca TRU and the seca mBCA 555, Dietrich says, medical and fitness professionals have modern, digitalized support at their fingertips to provide patients and members with tailored advice that is easy to use.
Body composition measurement is much more established in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg than in other European regions. "With the seca products, we now want to bring in medical product solutions and support our customers with medical precision," explains Dietrich. Thanks to its core business, medical measuring systems and scales, seca has particular expertise in this area. In the Netherlands, seca has its own branch including a showroom in Naarden and supports its customers with sales and service in the local language.
